6th at Ironman Florida

Well that was the last race of the year for me and I'm happy with 6th here at Florida and also with the season as a whole. I feel the whole year has been a big improvement on last year.

The race panned out kind of as I hoped, came out in the front group of 4 in the swim, steady bike so got caught by some of the stronger bikers (hope to change that for next year) then a solid run (not as fast as I planned but still 6th fastest) apart from a drfating penalty (4min sin bin in T2) I was very happy with my performance.

There were alot of good guys in this race with past Ironman champions and other top Ironman athletes.

I travel back to the UK next week , so hope to see some of you out on the roads, Fit-For Sunday rides are something not to miss!!

So a little break now with just some light training, see some friends and relax (no stressing about races for a while).
