4th Ironman Brazil

Very happy with this result, I did my best, I finished in my fastest time in IM so far, but their were 3 people quicker than me.

This is great for me, bit of money and it shows to sponsors and supporters that I am still improving.

Brazil was a great place to have a race, the race venue was a small island on the east side of Brazil caled Florianopolis, beautiful beaches and lovely friendly people.

I feel incredibly lucky to be travelling to these great places and seeing beautiful places and meeting interesting and inspirational people.

Both Bella and I are not earning much money , but are just scrapping by, our big aims are performace related not travel related, so although we love traveling to these places and seeing all these great places. This is a by product. we do not really care where the race is. If the world Ironman championsips were in Croydon and not Hawaii, we would not care (infact it would probably be better for our performance!).
Anyway my point is, I suppose, that we wish the sport was not so expensive, or maybe we were looked after (financially by the race) more. As we really put alot of effort into producing our best performance we can in the every race we enter.

Oh well, just a little rant;)

I suppose as the sport keeps growing and gets more and more TV coverage , then more companies will look to triathlon as a great advertising oppourtunity. As it is a great sport to promote any company through, compared to Football, whose players fight and argue and show little respect to the referees.

Opps I think I'm feeling a little jealous of footballers now. enough of that!

That's all for now.
